Tweak-7 produces an "Cannot create ActiveX component" error - how can this be fixed? |
This issue is caused by a corrupted Windows 7 installation - in most of all cases this only occurs on Windows 7 installations that have been upgraded from a previous version of Windows.
To fix this, do this:
Run the Windows 7 setup from within Windows 7 and choose 'Upgrade installation' - the installation will take some time, but once finished the ActiveX error should be fixed.
Alternatively you may want to try to boot from your Windows 7 DVD and choose the 'Repair' option.
